—OpenPublish settings
———The Server is shared by every channel — it is one server. The Stream Key routes your feed to this channel, the same way YouTube and Twitch work.
In OBS set Keyframe Interval = 1 (Output → Enable Custom Encoder Settings), or segments inherit x264's default and latency climbs past 12s.
—Whole URL goes in Server. Then Output → container mpegts. Needs OBS 28+.
Venue renditions — one publish each
The venue encoder sends every rendition itself, to the same RTMP Server with the stream key shown for it. Keyframes every 2 s, aligned across the three, scene-cut off; publish over RTMP (over SRT a rendition that reconnects comes back on a new timeline and is left out until the channel restarts).

Encoding
—
The encoder is picked per platform: libx264 in software on the Linux host (no GPU, so every encoded rung costs CPU), VideoToolbox on a Mac, NVENC where an NVIDIA GPU works. A ladder never upscales: a 720p publisher on the full ladder gets 720p and 480p, not a fake 1080p.
Recording
DVR files are cleartext even when delivery encryption is on — the recorder taps the source, not the encrypted output.
